Home Made Italian

So.. after settling into our long duration in Florence (waiting for our Indian Visas in Rome) and trying to allow me to get over my annoying lingering cold...

So we made our own welcome dinner of Italian!


We made spaghetti at the apartment.. it was beef with wild mushrooms, mixed veggies, a hot pepper with an olive tomato sauce and spelt spaghetti noodles (left over from one of our Icelandic dinners believe it or not!)


The quality of produce that the Italians have access to is wonderful... perhaps that is the secret behind their famously delicious food... oh, that and full fat cheeses... oh.. and simple carbs ;-)
