Italian Pudding Hot Chocolate..

Hot Chocolate in Italy since really so much the milky beverage sweetened with chocolate, its more like melted chocolate made loose by heat and a little milk...

Naturally, we had to experience this...



Matt and I went to one of the cafes on the Plazza Signoria (remember that copy of David?) and stood at the bar inside (since sitting down there is about double the cost) and enjoyed an afternoon tea in the warmth of the cafe.

Matthew had a latte while I order the pudding thick hot chocolate which could actually hold a spoon for a fraction of a second upright in the cup. When the "hot chocolate" cooled - it literally cracked like that of heated chocolate  too....

We finished it off with a mistakenly order house cream dessert/pie thingy - it was good.. not too sweet but I am sure was balanced with care to hide just how rich the ingredients were!

The hot chocolate is on the left... super dark.. super thick... super rich!
It was supposed to come with whipped cream which may have helped??
